iPod touch Did erase all data and settings on Jailbroken iPod touch...stuck on spinning cricle

I was going to sell my iPod touch 4th gen 8GB today and i wanted to do a factory reset. So from inside the iPod touch, i did the erase all settings and data and now it is stuck on spinning circle for past one hour.
How to resolve this and get the iPod to back to factory settings ?
How to go about it ?

Ok putting it in DU mode and then restoring worked.
