Did Finder always do this?

I do not see a confirmation from Finder, when copying files from one network server folder to another, that asks me to confirm replace or skip if a file already exists. I thought it used to? It does give this option when copy/pasting between folders on the local computer.

Details - from a MacBook Pro thru the network I copy files from a local folder on a Windows 10 laptop via Finder/Go/Connect to Server, and pasting to another server/folder.

Maybe it never offered this confirmation when copy/pasting between network folders? Or did it?
