Hey everyone!

Some of you may have read that I drove over my i7 mbp about a month ago. Well I finally got the insurance cheque thru last week. Picked up a new one on Sunday...

Have Apple or Adobe done something? Because flash never used to run full screen on intel graphics without being stuttery. Now it's as smooth as silk!

Did something happen? Or was gfx status just lying about it being on intel.

Adobe did come out with Flash layer 10.1 recently. That is probably what happened.

There was a new version 10.1, codename "Gala" which on my Mac reduced the CPU required to show a movie by a lot (about 1/2). You may have the newer version on your new Mac. But I also read a news story that the latest shipping Macs DIDN'T include this new version.

Try Googling for "Flash Gala Mac" and also try to find out what version you have currently (Safari > Help > Installed Plug-ins). I have "Shockwave Flash 10.1 r53" which I am pretty sure includes Gala. No idea if I have the latest version though.

Hope that helps.
