I have a Iphone 3GS running 4.0 with the jailbreakme.com jailbreak with my hashes backed up.

My home button is broken, the reason I jailbroke my phone to get a home button on my touchscreen.

I did Erase All Content and Settings, phone just loops booting, I have no home button so no way to get it into DFU mode, Ive done Erase all.... before and I usually have a screen that just ask me to plug the phone into itunes, where I can restore ect. Guess that changes will the jailbreak?

Thanks

Without a home button, don't know how you will get it in DFU mode

And the only reason it might be "bricked" (an overused by newbies term) is because you have a hardware issue. If your home button was fixed, very easy restore assuming you bothered to save hashes.

Also, stay away from "erase" switches, very foolish to use them.
