Did I buy the wrong model? :( MBP13TB18

Hi.
So a website in my country was running a 20% discount on the MBP13TB18 Base model a week ago which I ended up buying. Now its arrived at the post office and I am having 2nd thoughts if I should have picked the one with 16GB of ram instead or maybe even a 15" model. Problem is if I decide to return it now I wont get the 20% discount a second time around. What should i do?
Plan on using it for University, some Raw editing in photoshop and programming. (Unity)

8GB is still plenty and will bring you through your academic career easily. Don´t get caught on spec wars. Your machine in general is capable for years to come. If special toolsets/power envelopes may be needed, that shall be decided when the time has come and you know about it for sure.

But be adviced to get Apple Care with your macbook.

You will always be able to sell this machine for hardly a loss.

So dont you worry too much ... enjoy the learning!
