I sold my iPhone 5 yesterday to a girl on craigslist. All I did was go to settings and erase all content and settings.

I didn't take the SIM card out, I didn't turn off iMessage, and I didn't turn off find my iPhone.

Did I do anything wrong? Can she get my info off of it?

If you used "erase all content and settings" then there isn't any info of yours left on the phone for her to get.

If you didn't take the SIM card out then I assume that it is deactivated right?

Though shouldn't the SIM card have been taken out?

If the OP activated a new SIM card (which deactivates the old SIM card), then he has nothing to worry about leaving it in as it can never be reactivated.

The only thing he would have to worry about is if he left an active SIM card in the phone and the person who bought the phone can use his plan (i.e. making calls) but I assume he was smart enough not to let this happen.

Yeah my 5C had already been activated.

Thanks for the assurance everyone.
