Well, excited like everyone else when the release came out.. I downloaded the ~400mb update file and press install. my macbook then restart and went into the leopard galaxy screen with a loading wheel in the middle spinning. i left it installing and went to work, then 10hours later(back from work) i found out that it's still spinning in the leopard galaxy screen.

so i manually shutdown and turn it on again. i found that it's already 10.5.7 when it's back on. is it fully installed?? is there a way to check? any advise? thanks..

Click the apple logo, and about this mac, should say 10.5.7

if the "apple/about this mac" menu leads to a dialog that says 10.5.7, you should be ok.

You will notice that many people had problems in the re-boot stage of the upgrade, so I would not be too concerned.

You could also try installing the last version of Safari v3.2.3, which requires 10.5.7 as a check (it will not install in 10.5.6)

yeap. when i checked it says 10.5.7 and safari has also updated itself to 3.2.3.. thanks
