I bought a "for parts or repair only" Early 2013 MacBook Pro 15 Retina for $400.
It's the base model, so nothing too fancy.
Initially, I wasn't too interested until I saw that cosmetically, it looks like it just came out of the box.
Opening up the bottom cover, I made sure that there isn't any signs of liquid damage.
Walking into the Apple Store, I had it repaired for free under the "Repair Extension Program for Video Issues".
