$530 for a 5 year old computer seems outrageous IMO, but you're not me so as long as your happy that is the main thing. But since you are asking no that is not a good deal, the person that sold you that laptop made out on top on this one.

The value of it strictly depends on what it can do for you and your productivity.
Possibly a little high but if it is what you wanted and needed, then don't worry about it and just enjoy your new machine!
