iPhone 12 Pro Did I get an "used" brand new iPhone 12 ? !

Got the brand new iphone 12 pro on Friday (10/23/2020). Did not import anything. Opened the Health App, there were about 0.2 miles walked and 80 steps recorded, dated to Oct 13th (the day when iphone 12 was announced).... So wired, did someone turn on the phone and walked with it in Apple Factory?

Could have been tested for quality control. If it looks and acts as new, keep it.

But you set the device up yourself- prior to a setup there isn’t any user data stored on the device. Health data is user specific, I don’t see how someone else’s would be retained if you set the phone up.
