Yesterday I downgraded from iOS 7 beta 6 to iOS 6.1.4 because of the supposed expiration date. I obviously backed up my phone before installing the beta, but then before I decided to downgrade iTunes did a automatic backup of my phone as usual, but I believe the new iOS 7 backup overrode the previous iOS 6 backup. So, I started the downgrade as usual, planning to restore from the iOS 6 backup. My phone went into recovery mode which I thought was odd but restored it anyway. I know that there is a way to get out of recovery mode, but my power/sleep button is broken. After I restored my phone, it had the iOS 6 "Welcome" screen. I was then prompted on iTunes to either use as new phone or restore from backup, so I attempted to restore from my backup file. I got a error code saying that iTunes couldn't restore my phone from a higher version backup. After the "Welcome to your new iPhone" screen, it went on to the normal iPhone managing screen. I attempted to restore again from backup, but this time it did not show my backup file at all. What I want to know is, did I lose all of my precious data for good? Is there any way to extract any pictures or any other data from the backup file? Is the backup file even still on my hard drive? Also, if I upgrade to iOS 7 beta 6 or GM, will I then be able to load my back up file on to my phone? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Yes.
You can get it all back when iOS 7 is out then you can restore from that backup.
It's an iOS 7 backup file now cause it got overwriten so you can't use it for any device running iOS 6.
Backup is still there and nothing is gone.
