With all the sales going on with the new Apple products. I was contemplating making a purchase. I currently have a 2.4Ghz Unibody MacBook, and although I like it when playing Sims I have some slow frame rates sometimes with a terrible viewing angle while watching movies. I was contemplating the new 2009 MacBook pro 2.66 MacBook with the 256MB Video Card vs. a refurb 2.53 with the 512MB Video card. I chose the refurb. I like the fact the new ones have a SD Slot, but I have a USB Card adapter anyway, and I rarely use my laptop if it is not plugged up anyway. So the battery life should not be a huge factor. Did I make the right decision? By the way I could have done the Free Ipod Touch deal if I bought a new one vs. the refurbished.

I think the refurbs are great deals, and you get (IMHO) more for your money at this time.

The only thing is if that iPod deal was worth it to you, but if the savings are more, then congratulations on a great deal. :)

I dont need the Ipod at all I would just sell it on Ebay. So maybe I made the right decision.

WHAT? You wanna get rid of this???

SO funny! :rolleyes:
FireWire = Nothing to me
SD Reader = Nothing to me.

Im accustomed to using my USB SD card reader. Even though, and God I know, It takes 2 extra seconds to plug it in so I guess you got me beat there.
Im gonna go cry and regret my purchase now..:(

And for "clinging to the past" !?!?! HAHA yea my Aluminum MacBook is so 1990!!! I mean god, it only came out 218 days ago!
