Did I miss something regarding the PSN movie rentals?

For instance, how long is the rental period? And are the movies in 5.1? I can't seem to find any info on this. Also, I read that one review that was posted but are there any others? Information seems to be scarce.

I might be way wrong, but I'm thinking that if the rental period were long and the movies were in 5.1 Sony would've made sure to crow nice and loud about it.

And you can't download and watch at the same time...... Now that I tested it I think I'll stick with the Apple TV. They said you could, but for me it switches to pending when I start watching. I finally finished downloading it and need to finish watching by 7:08pm tomorrow. I already watched an hour. I let it download for a bit once I noticed that it doesn't download and play.

I think you need to check that....I've been downloading movies and watching before they finish up.

Hmm... My playstation doesn't like me. It just switched to 'pending'. Really pissed me off . Along with the frequent 'error occured, signed out' messages which required me to sign in to continue downloading.
