Did I wasted $99 yesterday? Airport express

Enlighten me guys.. So I pre-ordered the new apple tv last week and yesterday at apple store without hesitating I bought the express. Thinking to stream my iTunes library to my home theater and I did work great as I'm typing right now.

My questions is about redundancy if the new apple will be on my hands soon..

Will the new apple tv stream also my iTunes library (music) same as the express?

Short answer: yes. Long answer: if you need a router or printer access point then no, otherwise, yes.

Do you need a router? You can connect all your wireless gadgets to it, like your notebooks. And if you have a late-gen smartphone, you can connect and make calls through the router as well.

If you don't need the Airport Express for any of these things, then you should return it, it won't do you any good.

thanks guys.. i do have a very slick router the new netgear 3400 dual simultaneous. no doubt this will go back today lol. thanks for the advise!
