My old Incase Snap that was purchased at the Apple Store started cracking on the corners for no reason, so I ordered a new one on Ebay because it was a bit cheaper ($19.99). Just got it today, and noticed it's different from the one I bought at the Apple Store 9 months back. So I'm not sure if Incase changed the design, but I think I got a fake because the packaging seems wrong too.

I don't remember there being a plastic protector sheet on the box cover.

The back of the box says it's a "CLEAR" when it should say "BLACK"

The UPC should be "CL59593" not "CL59630"

Another plastic sheet protector for inside of case?

Peeled it off and it's glossy and scuffed up inside? No soft plastic on the inside of the case.

Color doesn't match.

What do you guys think?

Also, not to be racist but the seller has a Chinese name on the USPS shipping label.

Do you really need people to answer this for you?

If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck ...

Well I would like to confirm as I haven't been paying much attention to cases for awhile. Always a chance Incase changed their design, that I'm not aware of (though I doubt it). I've always loved incase for their quality.

But yeah, I understand what you're saying lol.

Definitely fake.

I got my replacement snap case (black frost) in the mail directly from Incase two days ago and it looks NOTHING like the Chinese case you got

Why haven't you filed an RMA with Incase? It takes like a week or two for them to process it for you but hey--free replacement!

I did get a RMA, but I lost receipt so I got to send mine back first. I wanted a case on before I send mine in, so I was just going to give the warranty one to my friend.

Wow, I would talk to the seller for a refund and if you don't get one then continue with an eBay dispute. I can't stand buying fake stuff on eBay. I once bought a fake jabra bluetooth headset and when I messaged the seller he said, yup it's fake but I'll be more than happy to return your money, I was like wow... Seller's like that should be banned.

I just msged him he issued a refund right away, apologized, and blamed his supplier. Said I can send the case back whenever, and will pay for return shipping.

100% FAKE!! It only worth $1!! There are several RED flags:

1. Color does not match the box and the case
2. The incase logo - LOGO is the main reason why you pay premium for this $0.5 case.. no way they dont make it exactly the same
3. UPC is UPC - UNIVERSAL PRODUCT CODE...

too bad.. just file a complain @ ebay and delist this seller

That's like saying "not to offend you..." and then say something offensive. In case you haven't realized all kinds of people sell fake things on ebay.

And also pretty obvious that it's fake by the quality.
