did itunes 7.6.2 (9) block custom FW?

i had to restore my iphone and redo it...after done with PWNAGE it went all well but when i try to restore it with the custom firmware that pwnage made i get a ''ERROR 1600''

I have 7.6.2(9)...how do i fix this?

7.6.2 has been around a while, and its what I use. Sounds like you accidentally restored a non-pwned firmware... Trying repwning your phone, then doing the custom firmeware again.

I have 7.6.2.9 and I was able to use a custom firmware.

You sure you have your phone in restore mode? I had mine in DFU mode and it kept giving me errors. Took me a while to figure it out.
