Did leaked cases matching the iPhone 4 design come out b4 the bar incident last year?

I wasn't around for the iPhone 4 launch so I was wondering:

Last year, were there any leaked case designs matching the iPhone 4 coming out BEFORE the whole lost iPhone at bar gizmodo thing went down?

Reason I ask is to see how trustworthy these iPhone 5 case leaks are. If these same sort of leaks were happening last year with cases matching the iPhone 4 then it would go a long way towards confirmation of a design change...

I don't remember that being the case. Keep in mind the iPhone 4 was found by Gizmodo in April so it was a few months early.

As I recall, there were no iPhone 4 cases. I could be wrong though.

There were however, a few iPad 2 cases being "leaked" before it's release. Those turned out to be right so I'm optimistic.
