So I've noticed that in Photoshop, the part of the window showing the document I'm editing sometimes goes all blocky when I apply an effect and I have to save the document, then close Photoshop and open it again. This doesn't happen with the nVidia graphics card disabled.

Earlier I tried to plug an external display in and my Mac just goes blue and the display doesn't show anything. If I pull the display out, my computer is totally unusable.

I'm wondering, has my nVidia graphics card exploded?


Already had the screen swapped on this MacBook due to IR, specs below:

That's odd. It almost seems like a GPU failure. I'd take it back in.
 
Try to reinstall the software. if it doesn't work, go to genius bar. I haven't seen this problem before.
