I bought this WD Elements external hard drive about a month ago and have been transferring media to it regularly, and backing it up to Time Capsule, set up as an network-connected hard drive. (The WD drive, partitioned, has been connected to Time Capsule and used both as a media drive and for Time Machine backups.) I've had some intermittent issues while using Carbon Copy, and then today Airport Utility told me the drive needed to be repaired. It would no longer mount. Disk utility was unable to repair the media partition. Is this drive bad? What is happening?
