I did my usual quest for information on the high hopes of buying a 32GB iPhone in the next week or two - and today Amazon popped up with a link to a 32GB iPhone on google. Anyone have any updates on whether we'll see an announcement next week?

It's doubtful because of the available memory. However, I suppose it's possible. I wouldn't take that ad too seriously, though.
I looked at that amazon link and all there was was 32 gb iPod touches, no where on there does it mention a 32 gb iPhone

The keynote is in a couple of days just wait for it! Then you will know for sure!
I don't think we will see this quite yet. The costs on ssd's just haven't come down enough for Apple to do this without upping the cost of the iPhone.
I agree about waiting. You'd be dumb not to at this point. But I need to correct you on one point. The keynote is in 4 days. Couple = 2.
