There is no "Send To Watch", the Sync is gone and the watch is only showing what's on the phone. I guess I have my answer but just curious if anyone knows any details about it.

Podcasts on watches is probably the single biggest source of frustration for me. My Fenix can't hold a connection and podcasts come in named EBJ7 or whatever. On the Apple Watch getting the one's I want to the watch has always felt like a minor miracle.

The Overcast Watch app is totally new. There are several tweets discussing the changes:

Sync to my AW is working even better than before with the new release of Overcast.
Did you select the playlist on your watch?

I don't typically use playlists. I tend to pick and choose and I've found playlists to be messy.

I'll give it a try though and see if that works.

I do not use specific playlists too. „All episodes“ works for me.

If you listen for 12 hours a day that’s about 4 years of listening. Doesn’t leave much time for much else. O way the watch can deal with that volume of podcasts.
I download all of every podcast so I don't have to use cellular. I have podcasts I've barely listened to in that.

The podcasts I listen to on the watch is a much narrower subset.

So, this is like a miracle. Set up a playlist, click add to playlist, and before long, there it is, waiting to be played. I can even semi sort of force it to sync. It's "send to watch", only different, and all things considered maybe better because now I can almost force the sync.

Thank you Overcast!
