I relocated an Aqara G2H camera for a few days. When I unplugged it and plugged it back in in the original room it will no longer connect to my Home. I’ve tried everything…reset, removed from Home, network reset. The only responses I can get out of this thing are that the Wi-Fi password is incorrect which doesn’t make any sense and that it’s unable to connect. Does anyone have any experience with this one?

Ok adding some info to this post since I'm starting to think it's not just about the Aqara cameras.

On November 3 I updated the firmware on my Eero routers. One base router and two extenders or whatever they call them. I also unplugged my two Aqara cameras and moved them to different locations while I was out of town. I returned on the 9th and moved the cameras back to their original locations. One would not connect at all, one took a few power cycles to get going. The one that wouldn't connect still won't. I read that a WiFi name with special characters could cause issues so I changed mine to just letters. Some of my stuff switched over automatically, some had to be re-setup. But some stuff won't come back at all.

Two Aqara G2H Pro cameras
Two WeMo smartplugs
iHome outdoor smart plug
Nest Protect smoke alarm

I've tried everything, or at least I think I did. Factory reset, network reset, removed the devices. Nothing is working.

Is it possible the Eero update is what caused this?

Of the devices you mention, I have two WeMo smart plugs as well and a few Nest Protects connected to HomeKit via Starling. None of those gave me any issues with the latest eero update.

eero updates are however notorious for breaking HomeKit. Did you try a network reboot?

Yes but I just tried again so we’ll see. I can get the Aqara cams back in the Aqara app but when I try to get them in HomeKit it says they are not authorized devices.

I had a similar issue with the WeMo doorbell. After factory resetting it, I tried adding it back to HomeKit and it said the same thing. I was able to add it in that state tho. Might be a HomeKit bug. Not surprising if it is.

Waiting for 16.2 so I can nuke my whole system and redo it. Don’t want to do it before the big architectural change.

I may start from scratch once that rolls out. It’s really weird that I have devices from three different manufacturers that suddenly won’t connect and can’t even be restored/reset.
