Did someone ever hack iDVD to do AC3 instead of PCM?

I know this is long gone and a bit odd in todays world, but was there ever someone that got iDVD use AC3 instead of PCM for audio, maybe with a script via terminal or by hacking the DVD afterwards?

iDVD was last updated in 2007 and had some buck fixes until 2011.
