I was watching Ace Ventura, Pet Detective this weekend and nearly fell out of my chair during a certain scene. Watch for yourself... any line remind you of someone?

"Oh there is just ONE MORE THING..." -- Jim Carrey pulls it off almost exactly like Steve does, feigns an exit then then pulls a giant surprise on the crowd.

Do you think Steve Jobs came up with the idea after seeing Ace Ventura?

I think "one more thing" started upon Jobs' second reign as Apple CEO... Ace Ventura came out in 1994.

I believe Ace Ventura predates Steve Jobs' "one more thing" by several years, please correct me if I'm wrong.

Actually, it looks like you're right time wise. Though I doubt very much he's doing an Ace Ventura reference unless Steve has an extremely subtle sense of humor.
