Did they improve the led screen in the newest 13" mbp?

The screen's colors seem to pop a little more and the max brightness seems to now be pretty bright. Am I imagining this or was there a formal announcement that the screens have been upgraded as well?

I think that if the new 13" lasts 10 hours on a charge, it is the best value in a notebook today. Premium everything.
