Upgrade from a 5 to a 5S. If not, why? if yes, why? If you didn't, do you think you will? If you did, do you regret it?

Me: Yes, I upgraded because I sold my iPhone 5 for $400 and the upgrade was only $200. So I got a better phone and made $200. So I don't regret it.

sold 5 for a good price in july because a friend wanted it badly. got 5s full price almost free

Still have 5 as I did not think the 5s was a big enough upgrade. Will wait to see where they go with the 6. If nothing to much with 6, will consider other choices.

Upgraded from my 4S, and I'm keeping my 4S as a backup. Got a space gray 5S.

I wanted to wait for the 6, but instead I'll be selling my 5S late this summer in order to get the 6.

I'll definitely be enjoying the 5S for the year, it's a beast.

Upgraded from a 4s to a gold 5s. Didnt wan t a 5c since they have a plastic shell and doesnt come in a 64gb model

No buyers remorse from me, this is a beautiful phone

Upgraded myself from a 5 and my wife from a 4s. We both like the new phones a lot though I am a bit upset about #GyroGate and hope its a software fix that happens sooner rather than later.
I say overall the 5s is a fantastic phone but I do think iOS7 on a 5s is the most unstable iOS/iPhone combo I have ever used. I'm sure with a patch or two more it will be better. So not LOVING, them but no regrets either.

And, of course, it's camera is improved and takes much sharper and clearer selfies!

:p

The closet in my bedroom has mirrored doors, too! :p

But speaking of that, I had to add one to my profile page that was taken with the 5s… it's your fault!

Yeah, I upgraded from my 5.
No reason not to, AT&T gave me $310 as a trade in and there was no wait.
I went after work on release day and got a 32GB 5s.
No regrets what so ever. I'll be upgrading next year too.

Upgraded from a 4, absolutely no regrets I love this thing. Even if I got it off contract 32 gigs money well spent.

I upgraded from the 5 to the 5S and I do not regret it. I've been upgrading iPhones yearly now so it has almost became a tradition of mine.

Upgraded from a 5 and no regrets. Love Touch ID and the improved camera. Don't really notice a difference with speed.

Financially speaking, upgrading from a 5 to a 5S does not make sense to me. That is why I think that the best thing is to buy the iPhone in the new life-cycle. Having the 3G, then the 4, then the 5 would be much better than starting with the 3GS, then the 4S, then the 5S.

I did, but only because I've changed carriers. We moved to a new home and have had a miserable time with Verizon reception at our new house the past few months but were waiting for the new phone to change.

Honestly, it feels like the exact same phone. The fingerprint sensor is neat, but I don't really notice the speed upgrades that other people talk about.

I'm sure I might appreciate the camera upgrade once I need it, but I after using both the 5 and the 5S, I don't think I would have paid to upgrade if I was staying with Verizon.

Didn't upgrade and won't till the 6. People can argue that its worth it and they love it, but its clear this was a minor upgrade. The benefits are a 1/4 second improvement in speed, a fingerprint sensor that basically does nothing but unlock the phone; its not incorporated into anything; and a slight camera improvement with a slomo gimmick. None of which are appealing to me. I'd rather a form factor change than all of those. The hardware was good enough as it was.

I upgrade my phone every year. And give my "old phone" to either my mom or dad, and use their upgrade. They don't care about the latest thing and having a year old phone isn't even bad :)
