can't imagine the heartache this is gonna cause in a high-traffic thread. Here's what I did.
Girlfriend switched from T-Mobile and got a Black 16gb 3G. Got it right there. No waiting nothing. $149.
I switched from T-Mobile and got a 8GB 3G. The rep said I could Pre-order the 32GB 3GS and just return the 8GB 3G, minus 10% or $9.99. Buy the 3GS for $299. So I'm waiting on a 3GS, which was pre-ordered. Att says its being processed. Till then, I have an 8GB iPhone 3G.

Same here. I pre ordered from AT&T's website around 12:00pm eastern on the 9th and it still says "In Progress". I did transfer my number from Verizon.
AT&T with store delivery and pickup.
I have a tracking number and "Ship Date" of 6/13. Neither of those were listed as of about 8 hours ago.
However, I'm still listed as "In Progress" rather than "Shipped."

att with in store pickup. ordered the 9th shipped on the 13th. the status shows in progress but I am assuming since there is a tracking number that it means the shipping in is progress! lol I guess it will update to shipped soon?
Ordered with AT&T on Saturday, hopefully I'll get it friday

Any idea why the shipment date would change getting closer to the 19th?

They told me that the "Delivers by June 24" is a glitch and I got a separate e-mail about it. I called and they assured me both phones would arrive on the 19th.
I'd hate to be a CSR at Apple or AT&T right now.
I ordered at 9:30am on friday 6/12 and I am showing as shipped on the AT&T website.
I ordered in-store on 6/12 since the at&t store is literally around the corner from my office and I would get it faster by ordering it into the store and picking up first thing in the morning.

I ordered a White 32GB yesterday through Apple. I live in San Diego, but will be in LA, so I had it shipped to the LA address. I got an email this morning. Not Yet Shipped, but it says delivery by June 19th. I was going to order earlier, but I was not sure where I would be on release day.

O wow, I remember reading about that. Do you think that would apply to my order as well? I put it in yesterday.
I should prob call Apple Store support to verify.
Are they all being shipped via UPS, or are some Fed Ex? The UPS guy that delivers to my office sucks. They've been a day late in the past delivering both a camera and my engagement ring (!). I just know I won't be seeing the new phone until Monday, if it's UPS.
