Did you preorder from Verizon before?

I am switching to Verizon with the iPhone 6, got the single line plan (yay!), but unfortunatley needed to do that in store and by the time I got to it the phone I wanted was on backorder, to be delivered by October 14th

Did you ever preorder from Verizon for the 5 or 5s? Is it possible for the order to come earlier than expected?

Apple store says 7 business days, I just don't see why Verizon is a month behind

Estimates are fairly accurate, I wouldn't expected much before what they stated.
