Did you reserve your iPhone for in store pickup or pre-order for home delivery?

I've always had terrific service from AT&T, this year is no different.

Went online to AT&T, placed order, no waiting...:)

It will be delivered to me on the 24th.

Reserved for in-store pick up. (NH)

Then got a second reservation through for the wife. Had to make a new apple ID to get it through. I guess you can only have one reservation per apple ID.

Reserved 2 (Trafford Center, Manchester) so we have a fall back option if o2 don't end up offering a contract upgrade pre order.

Thought I was gonna see you @ Knox St?

Sorry to threadjack, but I recognize the store...any reason you'd recommend the Knox St store over Northpark Mall in Dallas? I was thinking the air conditioning inside the mall might be the way to go, but I've never picked up a phone on launch day before. Any suggestions for a Dallas day zero newbie?

Because everyone has the same idea you do and I hear the NorthPark line is always very long. Last 2 years I've gone to Knox about 1 hour before opening and been out within 30 minutes of opening. Might go a bit earlier this year though.

Turns out that when my friends were saying University Park they were refering to the Ft Worth store and not the SMU area University Park. Kinda sucks since I live in uptown but I'm looking forward to seeing everyone.

Ahh...now the University Park name makes more sense. I'm in Uptown as well....actually, Turtle Creek, right by the Mansion. Office is McKinney & Hall, so the Knox St location works out very nicely for me.

Had to reserve (Brea Mall, CA) so I could drop that retarded $500 deposit. But oh well. Would have reserved anyway.

Wow, I expected to see a lot more pre-order than reserve. This does not bode well for the lines. :(

So it's all the "reserve" folks ***** it up for those that want to purchase......

What? We are purchasing as well, just choosing to do it in store. If they wanted my CC # now I would do it....but I can't sit around waiting for FedEx...better to pick up on my way into work.

Wait a minute,, I live at the rennisance at Turtle Creek on the corner of Cedar Springs and Turtle Creek. Also across from the mansion.

Are we neighbors?

Pretty close. I know a girl that lives there...drives a yellow IS300.

I actually live on Gillespie & Hood.

How is everybody reserving theirs for in-store pick up? I click the "reserve now" link on the Apple site and it takes me to the "pre order" page. Is it the same thing?

Pre-order from Apple.

Wasn't showing up on AT&T's site and the nearest Apple Store is 6 hours away.

Ok...just made it to the "reserve" page. But at the end, it was telling me that the cost will be $699....! The thing is, I'm an existing customer and I'm eligible for the discounted price....should I reserve now and worry about the cost when I pick it up?

Same problem here- should I be worried?

same problem here.. should i be worried or do you think when I pick it up the Apple store will be able to correct the pricing?

Start the process over. Others have seen the same thing and it seems to mean that it didn't properly collect your data from AT&T.
