Did your battery life drop after Lion update?

There is a thread for this in the MacBook Pro forum as well.. but figured I'd ask people here too..

I have the 11 inch first gen (1.4ghz c2d 2 gigs of ram)

It seems that after updating my OS to Lion my battery life after a full charge has dropped from 8.5+ish hours to under 3 hours.

Anyone else ?

I'm gonna give apple a call tomorrow, see if its on their radar at all.

with the hardware of the first gen, it's hardly a surprise you'll have worse battery life due to Lion being the most demanding OS X so far. Lion alone requires at least 2GB RAM to install so you are really lacking in that department

yea my dropped from about 8.5 - 5 on macbook pro 13'
