Did your iPhone 4 arrive with a dead (drained) battery?

I got mine on the 23rd (shipped via pre-order) and it wouldn't turn on. I had to plug it into the wall charger for about 10+ minutes before it powered on by itself.

It seems to be working well, but I'm wondering if the battery is under par. I haven't heard of anyone else's arriving with a dead battery, so I thought it was pretty weird.

I was told by the apple store lady that it probaly just means it was one of the first couple thousand off the production line no need no worry my is great:D

Both mine and my wife's phone came dead as a door nail and needed a charge before we could activate it. Now we're getting HORRIBLE battery life out of it.

It's a common fact that you are supposed to let devices charge before you use them anyway this goes for the iphone too I even says it somewhere that you are supposed to charge fully before using

I expected it to be discharged, but it actually had about 80% charge. I wouldn't read anything into it. Just see how it does over the next few days.

Hmm so it's pretty rare. Did the people with dead batteries have any problems after charging it up? Mine is losing about 15% over night (8 hours).
