Didn't realise how bad my signal was.

So, i have had an iphone 4 near enough when it first came out and in the last few months 3 of my friends bought them.

We are all on the same network but they all have full/nearly full bars when i either have 1 bar,no signal or searching.

Is this because of the problems they had when they first came out?
i doubt it but is there anything i can do to sort it out?

Take it in to Apple and complain.

The iPhone has always had reception problems going back to the very first release. I've owned them from the first day the iPhone was released and every model has had problems notwithstanding several antenna redesigns. I'm seriously considering moving to the Android platform.
