Difference between 2.0 C2D Mid-07 vs. current 2.0 AL

I'm wondering if there are any significant processing differences between the two 2.0Ghz C2D MB's.... the 07 models versus the current 2.0Ghz ALbook.

i'm primarily looking for a machine that would do encoding on the go. especially when I use Toast.

So here are the machines...

2.0 from early 2007.
2.0 Santa Rosa
2.0 Current aluminum.

Are they all the same in the time it takes to encode MP3 and video or is the newer one faster than both significantly?

Well, there IS going to be a difference, probably not ground-breaking, but you will shave off a few seconds when encoding/converting music.
