Difference between MacBook Pro 15 retina ME665LL/A and mgxc2ll/a

Hi guys, I am new in this forum. I have my iPhone 5s and iPad mini, and now I want to buy a MacBook Pro. But I don't understand the difference between those numbers, it seems to be the same technically. So if you could help me I will be appreciated. Thanks

The 665 is an older 2013 model (specs here).

The GXC is a newer 2014 model (specs here).
