Hello:
I'm looking to buy a new external hard drive. I like my Western Digital MyBook, and so I'll go with them again. I am curious what the essential difference is between their Home, Pro, and Premium lines, all other things being equal such as capacity and interfaces. For instance, they list their Pro line as having 7,200 RPM, but they do not list the speed of their Home line on their website. I'll be using it some to edit home video via firewire on my MacBook, but mostly as a backup drive. Can anyone shed some light on this? Thanks in advance.
