Hey Guys :)

So, is there any difference in Batterylife between the Applewatch 3 GPS only vs the LTE Model?
e.g.: Does the LTE Model have a higher batterylife over the GPS only Model?

Thank you in advance:)

The battery capacity is the same.

If you’re not near your iPhone or Wi-fi, then your LTE model will switch to LTE whereas your GPS model will be disconnected.

When you get back to your iPhone, the LTE model will probably have less battery left, but that’s because you stayed contactable.

For reference, my LTE model has 72% battery left now. It’s 22:39 and I’ve had my phone with me all day. It was taken off charge around 06:15.

So don’t buy the GPS model thinking you need to save battery to get through the day.

kk, main dealbreaker for me would be the Batterylife.

In germany we only got Telekom as a provider for LTE models, unfortunately I'm going with Vodafone - which has not planned on introducing E-Sim LTE support for apple watches.

So I'm good with the GPS model - but if you guys would've told me the LTE Model would have a better batterylife/capacity, I'd have gone with the LTE Model, I guess? :)
