So, I've been on my Sprint powered iPhone 4S for about a week now. In that week:

Sprint website shows that I've used 303 MB of data;
Settings-General-Usage-Cellular shows I've used 226 MB of data.

So, I'm wondering what accounts for the difference. I personally don't care about overages because Sprint offers an unlimited plan, but it's more of a "what if" I decide to leave Sprint for another carrier in the future so I can plan my data plan accordingly.

Does MMS send over 3G (like SMS does) even if you have a Wifi connection? I suppose this could account for a majority of the difference, as I've MMS'd about 15 photos to several contacts.

303 MB of data per week puts me around 1.2-1.5 GB for the month, which is where I expected I would be anyway, connected to Wifi constantly at home. No wifi available at work.

Thanks

I forgot to factor in Sent data. That's listed as 45 MB. So, there's still a 30 MB difference when all is said and done. I'll see what happens tonight when it updates again.
