I'm helping out a friend to set up a live Zoom workout to benefit charity later this week. Unfortunately, most of the higher quality webcams are sold out so I'm stuck with having to use the built-in cameras on the MacBooks. I have a couple of macs - the newer MacBook pro 16", MacBook air and an older iMac. I was wondering if anyone knew if they are different in quality-wise. I know the newer iPhones and iPad have better 1080p but have to use the desktop due to the fact there are features on the desktop version that aren't on the mobile app.

It seems most of the notebooks have 720p Facetime cameras, including the brand new 2020 MacBook Air. I'm not sure why Apple continues to use these low-resolution cameras.
