Is there any difference between Magic Trackpad 2 and Magic Trackpad 2021 other than the rounded corners to match the new Mac designs ?

The new model comes with a woven cable, which is not being sold separately.

Some Youtube videos mentioned the plastic feels cheaper on the MT3 compared to the MT2.

Any updates on this? And also, is the 2021 trackpad now in light grey/white only?

I just got a new space gray / black "Magic Trackpad" to replace my old silver/white "Magic Trackpad 2"

The new one has more rounded corners and a different (not sure if better) click.

They both have the same model number of A1535

The bottom plastic is matte instead of glossy, but I don't know that I would say it is "cheaper." I am not going to disassemble it to find out how it feels detached

That is interesting that you said they have the same model #. Are there any real differences. I am going to be upgrading for a trackpad1 so I can get the trackpad2 for $89 vs $129. Is the Trackpad3 worth $40 more? Why?
