If you could remember the average going price of a used iPhone before this year's WWDC, how much did it drop after WWDC?

Definitely went down. I sold mine (8GB Black) for $400 pre-WWDC (like a week prior).

I guess it might depend on the area. I put mine up on craigslist and sold it within 15 minutes.

I did that will my old alu iPhone a month after the 3G came out. Met him in a walmart parking lot 15 min after posting. Him and his asian mob

Yeah gotta be careful with Craigslist deals.

Damn straight. A co worker of mine had his generator stolen a couple of weeks ago and saw the same model listed on Craigs list the next morning. Met the guy in a Wal Mart parking lot and it was his generator (he had some custom crap bolted on so hard to mistake it for a different one).

The cops didn't even want to help him get it back, so he had to set up a sting with the guy and a friend of a friend turned out to be a SWAT sergeant so it all worked out.

I bet the kid who stole it **** a brick when a SWAT van and three cop cars showed up to recover the property.

haha, that is an awesome story :)

Sold my black 16 gb for $350 the day the 3GS came out :p For some reason, it seems that craigslist is easier to sell for a higher price than ebay.
