Differences between CS3 Student/Full editions

What are the Differences between CS3 Student/Full editions (apart from the license) and can I upgrade to CS4 (when it comes out) from a student license?

I think Student is cheaper and doesn't come with manual's etc. but it's still the full version.

Edu versions are not upgradable.

Edu versions are not upgradable.

You can upgrade from EDU to full.

There is no difference other than the license.
