So, what are the differences? Would they be any setbacks for having a Cydia-unlocked iPhone?

I really need help because there is a $300 difference between these two types of iPhone 4's where I live.

Factory Unlocked: Will ALWAYS be unlocked. These come unlocked from Apple and will not be effected if you update the firmware.

Cydia Unlocked: In some cases new versions of iOS will lock your Cydia unlocked phones. if you upgrade before a new unlock is found your phone will become locked and you will need to wait until a new unlock is created.

So my advice is buy the factory unlocked if you don't want to worry about upgrading to a new version of iOS, if you don't mind waiting for a new unlock to be created then go for the Cydia unlocked.
