Greetings,

First time posting. I'm planning to buy an MBP 15. This will be my first Mac.

I found a good deal (at least I think it's a good deal) at a local store for a brand new MC723LL/A for $1,500 (before taxes - $1,650 with taxes). The refreshed model, MD318LL/A, goes for $1,700 (no taxes on Amazon).

Other than MC723LL/A coming with SL instead of Lion, 750GB drive vs 500GB drive, and 1GB of video memory vs 512MB of video memory, are they are any other differences that I should be aware of?

Thanks,

Most important in making the right decision is first knowing what you will be using the Mac for

www.everymac.com used to keep detailed specs of different models of macs, haven't visited their site in a while but you should be able to answer your question there.

Thanks guys! Unfortunately, Wiki is participating in the blackout day to protest SOPA. EveryMac is being really slow at the moment, but it looks like they come with different processor models. I will need to dig in deeper.

Thanks for the links guys!
