I was sent a replacement iPhone 5 yesterday and I noticed a difference in its display. My original one was warmer in color with deeper blacks, but not nearly as bright. I read somewhere that there were three different screen manufacturers. I guess that is the reason behind this.

No, OP is talking to me silly. Yes, it is due to different manufacturers. I am hoping that by the time I can actually put my hands on the iPhone 5 I am upgrading to in a Verizon store, that the best of the bunch will have risen to the top of the heap.
