Hi,

The 13" MBP is very beautiful. One body, all alluminum. Backlit keyboard. SD card slot. Very nice !!!

However the Mac Book and the 13" MBP don't have a great difference when one buys either model.

MB's processor is 2.13 GHz, and MBP's processor is 2.26 GHz. So the difference in the size of the processor is not very large.

Buying the computer with the standard configurations, both have the following:
160GB hard drive, and NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics.

So basically, is the same computer, isn't ??

Thank you very much, very kind regards,

igmolinav.

You have to think to yourself - Does £150 extra (or $200) warrant the aforementioned features: a backlit keyboard; an extra .13Ghz of processing power; a glass trackpad with multi-touch gestures; a much better display; a significantly longer battery life; or the extra 266Mhz speed of the RAM? If it does, then buy the Macbook Pro 13" (especially if you want all these features AND prefer the aluminium enclosure).

Seems like a no brainer to me

For me it's all about the better screen. The white MacBooks still have that LCD with the not so hot viewing angles, whereas the 13" UMBP has the improved LED-LCD screen that is in my opinion worth the extra bucks.

Although I got mine on discount from the refurb store.

Hi,

Thank you very much for your answers : ) !!!

Very kind regards,

it was insinuated, since he was asking why buy a mpb 13 vs a macbook 13.

to me it was a no brainer; after seeing my budy with the white macbook, i knew it didn't stand up to the test of time with its weak body structure, cracks galore.

battery life to kill for...that was my deciding factor. I can have 3.06ghz c2d but if i can't use it for a full day of class, its no use to me
