You think they could implement changing the boring green and grey colored chat bubbles?

Just a small thing, but it would be nice to have some variety, random colors for each conversation like with iChat.

On 1.x there was an app that allowed you to change the chat bubble, if jailbroken. I'm not sure if that was ported over to 2.x yet though.

Also, iChat chat bubbles aren't totally random, they depend upon the senders colors they have set up in AIM.

I do remember the jailbroken app. Does this mean you'd be for it though? It's not even anything that matters, I just saw that green and realized I'd rather have it blue or something.

in ichat there is an option for received messages to be random colors.

You can do this with jailbroken devices on 2.x.

jailbreak/ssh ur phone and venture thru the files into the SMS files. Balloon_1.png and Balloon_2.png are located in /private/var/stash/Applications/MobileSMS.app and you can change them to whatever color you want

there are a lot of sms themes on cydia. If you jailbreak you should look there.
