Just noticed this while looking at screen shots (ignore the t-mobile up top i just changed that through MIM)

As you can see, Apple changed the dock, and made the font for the applications white.

1.1.4 on left, 1.1.3 on right.

That's some good attention to detail. I would have never noticed something that small. Probably cuz I don't have two iPhones to compare. I actually like the new dock better. The fade makes it look cleaner.

Uuh...no they didn't...

My iPhone v1.1.4 looks the same as yours with 1.1.3 so Apple didn't change anything. Nice try though, you got at least one person to take out their phone and look.

It's hard to tell. These are both the same phones actually...

Nice try to you though.

The only difference I can detect in the dock is a radial gradient in the shading of the mesh-like pattern in 1.1.4 versus a straight gradient on 1.1.3. Am I missing something other than this?

How else do you take screenshots on a non jailbroken phone?

You kind of answered you're own statement.

If a 1.1.4 jailbroken iPhone has white font and a different dock, then why does the 1.1.3 have a grayish font and a different dock?

To Cory, the font is white, instead of the grayish color.

Mine looks like the image on the right

EDIT: Maybe the font colour changes with time. Kinda like Dashboard clocks go dark after 6pm maybe the font goes white after sunset for easier readability?

what about the auto-brightness setting? Screen automatically dims in dark rooms. That would make the images appear slightly different in color.

I have just compared my mates 1.1.3 against my 1.1.4 and found a diff story altogether. My 1.1.4 icon names appear gray whereas his 1.1.3 appear to be white. I am unsure as to the story here but the attention to detail paid here is quite touching ;-)

Props to you. That was sound.
:apple:

If I'm not mistaken, an iPhone without SummerBoard displays the text as gray while an iPhone with SummerBoard displays the text as white. I know for a fact that is true on my iPhone. (1.1.4 Jailbreak + SummerBoard)
