I got my first Mac late last year for software engineering. My problem is that with each IDE I use, my code is usually stored in a default location that is different to the other IDE's. This makes it hard for me to find what I am looking for when searching for a project via file path. My question is whether there is a professional standard in OS X, possibly a global location to maintain paths of the code for different languages developed through the different IDE's.
