Different Max OS - Migration Assistant

Running Migration Assistant on my 16" and my older Mac.
The ONLY thing I'm running it for is computer-network setting (just to get my saved WiFi in keychain

Just came back to the laptops 3 hrs later. Either its slow, hung or stuck but it's still looking for data to transfer.
Is this due to mismatch OSX versions ?
