Help me out here.

I have a late 2011 Sandy Bridge 13-inch MacBook Pro. I'm considering changing it to 2012 13-inch Pro (with Higher Education discount in the UK, I hardly have to add any extra money).

Are the screens the same?

I know they are the same size and resolution, but is the quality the same? I only ask because:

1.) I wondered if the screen quality was slightly improved on the 2012 model?

2.) Perhaps a different manufacturer was used on the 2012 model?

3.) Because I was in the Apple Store tonight, and it *seemed* to me that the screen quality of the 2012 13-inch Pro was better than my 2011 Pro at home. But this is highly subjective and could be my imagination or the lighting in store.

So anyone know if different panels were used?

Thank you.

Close to every if not every model of MBP has screens from more than one manufacturer. You may get a better/worse one every time you change, even on the same day from the same place. Don't worry about this.
